Part-time- Math Teacher - One teacher to one student classroom.


The primary role of the mathematics teacher is to provide both academic and supportive instruction to middle and high school students. We invite instructors who are passionate about teaching and believe in a student centric instructional approach to apply. All classes and tutoring sessions are taught one-teacher to one-student all the time. 



· Determine instructional needs of students based on assessment, standards, and goals.

· Monitor students’ progress, adjust, and provide accommodations for a supportive academic environment.

· Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.

· Effectively use multiple forms of assessment and progress data to plan and guide instruction.

· Build a learning relationship that encourages the student growth

· Maintain students attendance, academic records/grade book, documentation, and recording.

· Ability to effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with …..

· Applies best teaching practices and expertise to offer positive feedback, engaging motivation, and coaching to promote student’s confidence and high academic outcomes

· Uses individualized curricular resources to instruct students towards standards using a variety of techniques including lecture, demonstration, audiovisual aids, and hands-on labs to supplement the materials

· Demonstrate awareness of student’s background, skills, interests, learning styles, and special needs in lesson planning, pacing, and presentation

· Maintain classroom lesson plans and student records for attendance, performance, and progress

· Demonstrates the ability to embed assessment in instruction and adjust instruction to meet student’s learning needs

· Ability to adapt, accommodate, and modify instruction and teaching methods to meet student’s learning needs while meeting general education curricula requirements

· Create and support an environment of respect and rapport while developing a climate that promotes positive learning conditions, in all interactions on campus


· Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university

· Available to work flexible hours

· Ability to commit long-term to a part-time schedule

· Maintain compliance with state and federal laws

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Position Type:


Position Compensation:

· $20 per hour

· One additional hour of compensation for every twelve hours of teaching

· 401K company program
