Spanish Teacher

Gentry Academy, a private school in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, is seeking either a part -time or full time high school Spanish teacher for the 2017-2018 school year.


The position requires an experienced teacher who can independently manage a classroom. A Minnesota teaching license is required. 


Gentry Academy is located on the Vadnais Sports Center campus in a state-of-the-art building that was newly opened in the spring of 2017. Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, Gentry Academy will expand from grades 5-8 to include grades 9-12.


Gentry Academy is designed for students who seek to be high-achieving leaders in life. Students are presented with a powerful opportunity to learn in a traditional classroom setting that integrates the core curriculum with a flexible W.I.N. (What I Need) schedule that allows students to focus on their desired disciplines and passions through our four schools focused on academics, arts, athletics and corporate integration.  


The School of Academic Enrichment allows students to further their academic pursuits through advanced placement courses, college preparatory programs, foreign language and personalized academic enrichments coursework. 


The School of Art & Design encourages artistic development for students in disciplines that may spark a passion and life-long career in dance, graphic design, film production, journalism, music production, photography, or writing.


The School of Athletic Development allows elite athletes to continue to master their skills through deliberate hours of practice in golf, gymnastics, hockey, and lacrosse.


The School of Corporate Integration partners with an industry-leading corporation that is only five miles from our Gentry campus to offer students receive real-world experiences in the classroom and corporate setting. Instructors are leaders within their field of discipline sharing their knowledge, application and expertise. This rare opportunity allows Gentry students to explore and hone their skills as they prepare for leadership in a corporate setting through semester immersion programs and internship opportunities. Our students will have high school and college internship opportunities set aside for them as well as employment opportunities after they graduate.
