Special Education Paraprofessional - Roseville Area Schools

Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a special education paraprofessional at E.D. Williams Elementary.  This position supports children with behavioral and academic challenges and works 6.0 hours per day, 5 days per week starting September 20th.

Description:
  • Provide program support to students in special education learning environments for students with various disabilities. 
  •  May require assisting students with feeding, toileting, diapering, personal hygiene and physical activity.
Qualifications:
  • Requires ability to lift, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds. 
  • Preference will be given to candidates who meet the standards for Highly Qualified Teaching Assistants.  This includes:  60 semester credits of study at an institution of higher education, or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, or a passing score on the MN Para-Professional Test.  Please send proof of these criteria with your application. 
Compensation: Starting salary is $13.49 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for those who complete the District Special Education Training.
