The employer is Mid-State Education District in Little Falls, MN, with assignment in Onamia, MN at the Mille Lacs Early Education Center.  Onamia, MN, is on the south shore of beautiful Lake Mille Lacs.  We are just 1 ½ hours north of Minneapolis on Highway 169.  The Mille Lacs Early Education Center is housed in a beautiful facility that honors Native American traditions and culture. We have a low staff to student ratio, which allows for individualized attention and instruction.  Mid-State Education District provides high quality staff development to staff, recognizes the value of team work, offers leadership opportunities throughout the district, and employs skilled specialists, including school psychologists, Autism Specialists, and OT staff to provide additional support for students.

POSITION PURPOSE:  The purpose of this full-time position is to provide early childhood special education and individualized curriculum based on student and family needs.  The position includes interaction with families, staff, and youth serving agencies in order to promote collaboration of educational and social/emotional needs of children in the least restrictive environment.

Beginning with School Year 2017 - 2018
The preferred, qualified candidates should have a MN Board of Teaching License in ECSE.  Candidates with other teacher licenses may be considered. The position is for 182 days.  Salary is dependent upon education and experience.
