The employer is Mid-State Education District in Little Falls, MN, with assignment at Royalton Public Schools.  As part of a recent expansion/remodeling project at Royalton Public Schools, the school will have a brand new ECSE facility opening in the fall.  The four Kindergarten and Preschool rooms are fully equipped with new technology including Smart Boards and Smart Tables.  The facility also includes autism and sensory rooms.  The new facility has access to a brand new gym and playground area and also includes a large teacher workroom and three small group rooms.   Mid-State Education District provides high quality staff development, recognizes the value of team work, offers leadership opportunities throughout the district, and employs skilled specialists, including School Psychologists, Autism Specialists, Speech/Language Pathologists, PT, and OT staff to provide additional support for students. This position will be an integral part of the Early Childhood team that supports children and families.

POSITION PURPOSE:  This is a full-time position to provide early childhood special education and individualized curriculum based on student and family needs.  The position includes interaction with families, staff, and youth serving agencies in order to promote collaboration of educational and social/emotional needs of children in the least restrictive environment.
Beginning with School Year 2017 – 2018, with an option to teach during Extended School Year 2017
The preferred candidate would be an experienced ECSE teacher, licensed by the Board of Teaching.  Candidates with other teacher licenses may be considered. The position is for 182 days.  Salary is dependent upon education and experience.
