Position: Special Education Paraprofessional 

MTS Secondary special education paraprofessionals work closely with teachers, parents and providers to create opportunities for student success through small group and one-on-one learning.

MTS Secondary serves students in grades 7-12 in the Minnesota Transitions Charter School community: https://mtcs.org/site/  

During the 2017-18 school year, MTS Secondary is integrating digital and online resources into the special education classroom through SmartPanel projection boards, ChromeBook touch devices, and digital content paired with student specific curriculum and the Nurtured Heart Approach to enrich the options teachers and paraprofessionals have to increase student learning. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience working with children, preferably children with disabilities, and demonstrate highly qualified status; or AA degree with 1 year of experience working with children preferably children with disabilities. 


Compensation: $20/hr.; medical, dental, and life insurance; PERA (retirement)
