Summary Art/Media Teacher for Elementary School Description The Art/Media Teacher will inspire and guide students in developing their creativity and artistic expression through visual arts and digital media. This role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, introducing students to a variety of art techniques and media tools, and fostering an appreciation for artistic expression. The teacher will integrate traditional art forms with modern technology, encourage student projects that showcase individual creativity, and support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through art and media. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and teach art and media lessons aligned with school standards and student needs. * Introduce students to a range of artistic techniques, digital tools, and creative processes. * Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment. * Encourage student expression through projects, exhibits, and performances. * Maintain materials, equipment, and a safe learning space. * Assist with school wide technology needs Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Media Arts, or related field (teaching license preferred). * Strong knowledge of both traditional and digital art techniques. * Passion for inspiring creativity and student growth.
