Position: Early Learning/School Age Care Coordinator
Hours or FTE: Full- time; Year Round Starting Date: July 1, 2026
Job Description: The Early Learning & School Age Care Coordinator provides leadership and administrative oversight for the district''s youngest learners and school-age students. This includes the management and supervision of Preschool, Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Early Childhood Screening, and the School-Age Care (SAC) program (Tiger Time). The primary goal is to ensure a seamless, high-quality educational bridge from birth through elementary school while maintaining a safe, fiscally sound childcare environment.
Qualifications/Degree: Bachelor''s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a closely related field. Valid Minnesota Teaching License in Early Childhood, Parent Education, or Elementary Education.
Job Requirements:
- Oversee daily operations for ECFE, Preschool, and SAC, ensuring strict adherence to Minnesota DHS regulations and district safety standards.
- Lead the Parent Aware certification process and implement MDE-approved, research-based curricula to ensure high-quality educational outcomes.
- Coordinate state-mandated Early Childhood Screening events to ensure kindergarten readiness and legal compliance for all district children.
- Recruit & supervise a diverse team of educators, providing professional development that meets state and registry requirements.
- Align School-Age Care activities with Minnesota Core Competencies to transform childcare into meaningful student enrichment.
- Manage site budgets, procurement, and complex billing streams, including the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and county subsidies.
- Utilize registration software (Arux) to manage enrollment, maintain accurate staffing ratios, and ensure the integrity of student emergency data.
Beginning Salary Range: Starting at $71,500 and may increase based on relevant experience
