Chamberlain School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity and critical thinking while delivering engaging, standards-aligned science instruction to middle school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science content, experience with hands-on and inquiry-based learning, and a commitment to helping students develop problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the natural world. Responsibilities include: Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based science instruction Utilize hands-on, inquiry-driven, and project-based learning strategies Assess student learning and use data to inform instruction Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and support student success Integrate literacy and cross-curricular skills into science instruction Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Science Education or related field Valid South Dakota teaching certification in Science or ability to obtain certification Strong classroom management and instructional skills Ability to engage and motivate middle school learners The district offers a competitive pay and benefits package, along with a sign-on bonus.
