Foley Public Schools is taking applications for a sixth grade teaching position beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. Successful candidates will:
* Must have a valid MN teaching license.
* Ideal candidate, will have deep knowledge of core areas such as Language Arts and Math.
* Ideal candidate must be able to produce, analyze and respond to relevant data about student learning.
* Ideal candidates should also have experience with multiple instructional practices and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners.
* Ideal Candidates should have experience working with Personalized learning and Standards based instruction.
* Ideal Candidates should have experience working with PBIS.
* Ideal candidate, should have strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Ideal candidate, should have the ability to build positive working relationships with students, parents and staff.
* Ideal candidate must have the ability to calmly and effectively deal with a variety of circumstances.
Extra-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available, but not a requirement for this position. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Master Agreement between Foley Public Schools and Foley United Educators.
