What You’ll Do
* Provide daily support to students with IEPs in general education, specialist, and Setting III classrooms
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to support academic and behavior goals
* Collaborate with Special Education teachers, general educators, and support staff to create inclusive environments
* Use tools like behavior charts and individualized interventions to help students grow
* Model social-emotional skills and help students navigate challenges
* Build strong relationships with students—and help them build confidence
* Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment
* Take part in professional development and coaching—and use feedback to grow
* Be on time, be consistent, and be a positive presence throughout the school day

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
* At least 60 college credits or able to pass the MN Paraprofessional Test within 30 days of hire
* Excellent communication skills
* A strong desire to support students from diverse backgrounds
* Eligible to work in the United States
Nice-to-Haves:
* Bachelor's degree or Minnesota teaching/substitute license
* Experience working with ESL and/or urban student populations
* Familiarity with CPI, PCM, or other de-escalation training
* Fluency or proficiency in Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Oromo, or Hmong
