Position Summary:
White Bear Lake Area High School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic educator to teach Algebra 1 and 2 to students in grades 9–12. This role offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a diverse student body, creating an inclusive classroom where all students feel they belong, find meaning, and believe they can succeed.
The ideal candidate will use a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs and help students build a solid foundation in mathematics. Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, supporting student growth, and collaborating with staff to ensure success. This position works under the limited supervision of the Principal, with occasional oversight of paraprofessionals or volunteers. Current Minnesota Math licensure required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
Minnesota Teaching License Required.
