Job Summary: Lake Ripley Elementary seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional
Schedule: Generally 6-6.5 hours a day hours per day.
Qualifications: Successful completion of the ParaEducator test or a 2 or a 4 year degree
Ability to speak Spanish is not required, but prefered
Essential Functions:
Assist teachers as needed with planning, preparation, and distribution of classroom materials.
Assist students in learning and other activities.
Maintain regular attendance.
Comply with State Law and District policies and regulations.
Maintain a safe environment for students that is conducive to learning.
Anticipate and effectively addresses unforeseen crises associated with working with children.
Perform supportive instructional tasks under the supervision of certified teacher
Attend district workshops as directed.
Litchfield I.S.D. 465 is located 1 hour west of the Twin Cities Metro Area and is a member of the Wright County Conference. We are also a 1:1 Apple school with all students and teachers having Macbooks/iPads for educational purposes.
