Directs and coordinates teacher supervision of areas such as halls and cafeteria. * Serves on District/site curriculum committees. * Coordinates site initiatives and programs under the guidance of the Building Principal. * Maintains records of student attendance. * Arranges for and oversees substitute teachers. * Works with administrators to coordinate and supervise student teacher&#8217;s program. This is an interim Elementary Principal position at William Bryne Elementary, a Pre-K to Grade 5 school of aproximately 300 students.  The position is designed to start at the end of October and goes through the middle of December.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Confers with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational and behavioral problems in school; disciplines according to District and state policies and laws; interprets same to staff, students, and parents.
