Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the coordination of all programming in the classroom. Educates and supports children in an individualized and nurturing manner, while supporting, and strengthening their positive physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Individualizes the curriculum to meet the needs of each child and family. Job Qualifications: * AA or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree focused on Early Childhood Education * Experience working with young children and families * Possess computer/technology skills * Possess current First Aid/CPR certificate or must be able to obtain * Ability to pass a background study * Able to lift 50 pounds and occasionally more; and able to kneel, bend, stoop, and sit on floor to attend to children&#8217;s needs Needed Attributes: Awareness of, and sensitivity to, children and families from a variety of social, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Ability to work with children and their families in a sensitive and nurturing manner. Self-starter with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with co-workers in a team setting.
