The Kimball Area Public Schools is seeking applicants for an Enrichment Program Lead Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This position is part of the Kimball Area Community Education Program and ESP contract. The Enrichment Program Lead Teacher follows the school year schedule. Typical work schedule is Monday ? Friday approximately 7:45am ? 3:15pm, however this position may be asked to attend special events for the Kimball Preschool program. The salary range is $18.45 - $24.77 per hour based on experience. Benefits included are sick leave and personal leave. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Kimball Area Early Childhood Coordinator, the Enrichment Program Lead Teacher (non-licensed) will prepare play-based learning experiences, implement program curriculum, and supervise daily activities for preschool children enrolled in the Enrichment Program. The Enrichment Program Lead Teacher (non-licensed) will guide and direct the Enrichment assistant/paraprofessional while overseeing the daily operation of the Enrichment classroom. Essential Functions: 1. Prepare and coordinate age-appropriate play-based lessons utilizing designated curriculum and resources, aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress, as advised by the Early Childhood Coordinator. 2. Supervise and manage a class of preschool age students, using age-appropriate expectations and behavior management, including carry out and enforcing safety procedures and school/program regulations. 3. Delegate to and directly supervise Enrichment assistants/paraprofessionals. 4. Engage in collaboration and cross-planning with the Preschool program?s licensed classroom teachers. 5. Act as a liaison and communicate with parents and the Early Childhood Coordinator regarding student concerns, program guidelines, procedures, goals, and objectives. 6. Maintain a clean and age-appropriate classroom. Participate in cleaning, organizing and setting up of materials or supplies as needed prior to, during and after the program. 7. Assist in record keeping including: taking attendance, discipline reports, accident/injury report, behavior reports, and lunch counts. 8. Other duties deemed necessary. Professional Requirements: 1. Maintain training in Early Childhood Education to meet the program?s Four-Star Parent Aware rating. 2. Attend meetings, planning sessions, in-service trainings or extra program activities. 3. Maintain CPR and First Aid certification. 4. Preferred: Associate Degree (A.A.) or two-year college or technical certification or degree in the Early Childhood Education field.
