Description To provide required behind-the-wheel instruction to operate a class D motor vehicle according to the Minnesota Driver Education Rules. Instructor provides vehicle with safety brake. Wage $51.15/hour Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess a current, not expired, Minnesota Teaching License Must possess a valid, unexpired Traffic Safety Education certificate Must possess a valid class D Driver''s License for 3 years. Must provide own vehicle with safety brake for behind-the-wheel instruction. Must be able to work with individuals with a wide range of skills. Must have knowledge of the classroom curriculum for class D motor vehicles. Must have good organizational skills and demonstrate dependability, promptness, and punctuality. Must be able to work independently. Must possess effective oral and written communication skills. Schedule Flexibility to work a varied schedule; schedule set by driving instructor and student demand. Highly recommend also applying for the open ISD 728 posting for Classroom Instructor. Positions can be combined for employee to work a total of 40+ hours per week between a combination of hours as classroom instructor and Behind-the-Wheel instructor.
