This individual will fill a critical need to provide timely coaching for principals and school leadership teams on the implementation of MTSS, including a focus on continuous improvement and addressing barriers and challenges to implementation. This individual will also support school leadership teams in translating the core values of MnMTSS into classroom teaching practices. Teaching: Provide experiential professional learning to support all staff in the implementation of MnMTSS and sustaining effective team practices Support the implementation of MnMTSS through on-site coaching and technical assistance to school teams Innovation: Work collaboratively with school sites on implementing teaming structures and systems to deliver core, supplemental, and intensive support Ensure a data-based decision-making process is embedded into all collaborative linked teams Grit: Support school teams in problem solving barriers and risks to full implementation of MnMTSS Support school leadership teams to ensure MnMTSS processes, protocols, and plans are implemented with fidelity and meet the needs of students Empowerment: Support building teams in conducting the SEMI-SLT at least annually and setting improvement goals (including theory of action, strategies, and progress monitoring toward outcomes) Co-facilitate completion of SEMI-DLT at least annually and setting improvement goals Readiness: Participate in opportunities to develop and deepen personal knowledge in MTSS data, systems, practices, and implementation science Participate in MnMTSS Pathways as identified in the MnMTSS Action Plan In collaboration with MnMTSS Coordinator, ensure creation and implementation of MnMTSS Action Plan Systems: Participate as an active member of the District Leadership Team Attend school site leadership team meetings, PLCs, and Tiger Support Team meetings Albert Lea Area Schools uses the applicant tracking system from Frontline Education to manage employment applications online
