Qualifications/Experience: Master?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred. CFY: Welcome to apply. Valid Minnesota Department of Education licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred. Knowledge of special education due process and compliance requirement. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Knowledge of speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication disorders. Strong understanding of special education procedures, including evaluation, eligibility determination, and IEP development. Ability to interpret assessment data and develop individualized treatment plans. Effective collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation. Commitment to culturally responsive practices and inclusive educational environments. Specific Tasks: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success. Participate in child study meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements. Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies and supports. Support students across a variety of service delivery models. See the job description for additional information.
