ZED offers a wide array of general education and special education services to our member districts (please refer to www.zumbroed.org for details). ZED has been in existence for over 30 years and is located in Kasson (MN) which is 16 miles away from the city of Rochester (MN). ZED opened a new 61,000 sq. ft. building in 2022. Job Summary: The ZED Special Education Teacher may work with students grades K-8 who have demonstrated behavioral and academic difficulties and may require more structured and focused programming. Job responsibilities often include: managing a caseload of special education students, ensuring special education student needs are met per their Individual Education Plans (IEPs), maintaining all due process compliance including IEPs/evaluation reports and providing specialized instruction to qualifying students.
