Job Summary: As the Employee Services Analyst, you will assist with benefits administration and the validation and processing of financial transactions within the Employee Services division. This role ensures compliance with ACA and other regulations while acting as a subject matter expert in benefits administration. You will also be responsible for accurate data analysis, reporting, and delivering outstanding customer service to district employees and retirees. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to supporting both the Employee Services team and district staff. Key Responsibilities * Reconcile premium payments, audit reports, correct discrepancies, and process manual adjustments for district insurance benefits. * Ensure compliance with ACA record-keeping and annual IRS reporting requirements. * Provide exceptional customer service to employees and retirees, handling inquiries professionally and efficiently. * Maintain high levels of accuracy when processing data in Skyward and third-party (TPA) systems. * Collaborate with Employee Services staff to identify and resolve data discrepancies across systems. * Conduct audits of employee benefit enrollments, dis-enrollments, and adjustments in Skyward and TPA systems. * Analyze Open Enrollment data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy. * Manage district time-off allocations, conduct audits, and reconcile balances. * Process severance paperwork and payments for eligible employees. * Collaborate to produce internal communication materials, including content for quarterly newsletters and targeted email campaigns. Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience in human resources, payroll, employee benefits, or insurance. * Associates degree in Human Resources Administration, Finance, Business or related field * Proven customer service experience with strong interpersonal skills. * Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets. * Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office. Skilled In: * Strong customer service orientation. * Effective team collaboration, with a focus on building positive relationships with coworkers. * Sound decision-making based on established policies, procedures, and regulations. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. * High level of accuracy in data analysis and mathematical calculations.
