Applicants must hold a current MN ASD or ABS Special Education Teaching License by hire date. Immediate start date available. A $5,000.00 hiring bonus is available for the position. Hiring bonus is payable in two installments: $2,500.00 three months after hire date and $2,500.00 on June 15th, 2025. Duties include: Case management and teaching high needs students with federal setting 2 and 3 designation. Provide support to staff in supporting students who are on the autism spectrum as well as students with unique learning needs. Assist with student behavior and sensory support, classroom setup, coordination of staff training, intervention ideas and data collection systems. Other duties may be assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of behavior concerns and how they impact learning. Exhibit skills at determining function of behavior. Exhibit skills in behavior management. Maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention. Able to work as part of a collaborative team. Able to prioritize work tasks to address the most critical issues first. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with standards-based instruction and English Language learners a plus. This position will be working within both the elementary and middle school settings (K-8).
