North Lakes Academy Charter School is seeking a reliable candidate for the role of paraprofessional to support our special education students and staff, with an immediate start date possible. While licensure is not required, at least one year of experience as a paraprofessional or in any educational support role, as well as experience supervising children, is preferred.
Paraprofessionals will assist general education teachers and special education case managers, providing individualized support for students receiving special education services. In addition to 3.5 hours per day as a paraprofessional, the role includes a 3-hour kitchen assistant position during lunchtime. The total work requirement is 6.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, on student contact days, with potential attendance at staff workdays.
