Specific duties will vary between buildings depending on their individual needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental duties: 1. Accurately verifies receipts and processes payments for student activity accounts. 2. Accurately prepares deposits for student activity accounts. 3. Monthly reconciles student accounts and maintains monthly reports. 4. Accurately prepares student account yearly audit requests and meets with auditor. 5. Accurately prepares budgets for activity events and trips. 6. Prepares cash boxes for activities; reconciling boxes after event; and completes all needed reports. 7. Works cohesively with the district office in regards to NSF checks. 8. Assists office manager and activities department with entering requisitions into the district finance program. 9. Assists office manager and activities department with receiving purchase orders in the district finance program. 10. Assists office manager and activities department with printing monthly financial reports for activity accounts and general fund. 11. Assists office manager and activities department with capital budget, if needed. 12. Performs other duties as assigned by the principal. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists the dean-in-charge with the purchasing, sale and database of student parking passes (purchases staff parking passes). 2. Assists with collection and deposits of overdue or lost book fees. Deposits money in appropriate accounts. 3. Assists staff and students with vending machine reimbursements. Contacts vending machine companies for needed repairs. 4. Relieves receptionist for scheduled breaks. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Specific training or job experience required before appointment): 1. High School education. 2. Knowledge of various software which includes the following: MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, and miscellaneous office equipment. 3. Capable of learning district financial program. 3. Excellent communication and organizational skills. 4. Must be able to multitask and problem solve. 5. Strong public relations skills. 6. Emphasis on ability to interact effectively and congenially with students, parents and public.
