Qualifications/Experience:
Current Minnesota teaching license required.
Successful background check required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents. Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Provide additional instruction to K-5 students with an emphasis on Math and English/Language Arts. Provide an ideal, positive learning environment, instruct students in individual or group sessions, and establish positive relationships.
Hours Per Day:
2:00 - 4:00 p.m. after school Tuesdays and Thursdays with a 30-minutes paid prep
