ELEMENTARY 5TH GRADE TEACHER POSITION: Holy Family School is seeking full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Classroom Teacher. This position will teach grade-level materials and curriculum and be involved in school-wide activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must hold a valid MN teaching license from the State of Minnesota or be in pursuit of a Minnesota teaching license. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Adheres to State, Diocesan, and school standards and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Below are the major duties and requirements of the job and is not all-inclusive. * Follow the policies, guidelines, and procedures of Holy Family School and the Diocese of St. Cloud. * Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to each pupil's needs. * Teaches school-approved curriculum. * Conform to, teach, and abide by the moral teachings of the Roman Catholic Church when performing as an employee and to spread God&#8217;s word in our words and actions. * Identifies pupil needs, makes appropriate referrals, and develops strategies for individual intervention plans. * Provides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of the student. * Maintains a professional day, as defined by school/and work agreement. * Communicates regularly with parents by means of newsletters, notes, phone calls, e-mails, conferences, etc. * Assists with planning and coordinating the work of paraprofessionals and volunteers in the classroom and on field trips. * Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors and contributes positively to a collaborative school environment * Maintains and improves professional skills by participating in building and grade-level meetings, formal coursework, workshops, and seminars to stay current with best teaching practices. * Promotes and supports the overall mission of the school and Diocese by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with the public and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment. * Maintain accurate records, grade book, and data tracking systems * Perform other duties as required and assigned Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, a resume, and three current professional contacts as soon as possible via email lotte@holyfamilysc.org<mailto:lotte@holyfamilysc.org> or to: Lisa Otte - Holy Family School 231 Sinclair Lewis Avenue Sauk Centre MN 56378 For more information, contact Lisa Otte at 320-352-6535.
