Middle School Boys Basketball Coach
All coaches at Rockford Area Schools are responsible for providing leadership, guidance and instruction to student athletes within their program. The coach reports to, and works closely with, the Activities Director along with the varsity coach to determine goals and direction of the program. The coach is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of every student athlete participating on their team.
A middle school boys basketball coach (grades 7 or 8) will design and coordinate practices, assist in scheduling competitions, assess the skill level of players and create teams, create a positive team environment of respect and facilitate communication with the Activities Director, parents and players.
This position will start on January 2, 2025, and run through the last week of February.
