Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 40 hours/wk; 12 month
Start Date: January 3, 2025
Pay: Starting pay is $19.91 - $22.62 per hour dependent on qualifications

Summary:
The Student Services Clerk will support the work of the Webster Education Center through customer, clerical and logistical support.
Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Keyboarding speed of 40 wpm
* Minimum of two years of relevant experience
* Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Strong computer skills including word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs
* Highly organized and flexible
* Skilled in prioritizing tasks, multi-tasking, and record-keeping
* Self-motivated with the ability to function with minimal supervision
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate’s degree or equivalent
* Prior experience working with people with disabilities
Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service to supervisors, staff, parents, and community members. This includes responding to telephone, fax, mail, and email requests promptly and accurately.
* Create and submit program job posting requisitions
* Process and submit Payroll Action Forms for employee hires and changes
* Code timesheets and review them for accuracy
* Process and track orders and record expenditures
* Process requisitions using the P-card, as needed
* Maintain accurate budget records and prepare reports
* Reconcile MARSS reporting errors
* Prepare and review DIRS report submission
* Generate and submit the monthly Enrollment Report for the school board
* Request and respond to student record requests
* Maintain staff attendance (vacation and sick time) records for the program, submitting them to the Payroll department in a timely manner
* Monitor the District’s substitute calling system for vacancies and coordinate coverage of classes as needed
* Issue building keys to staff, keeping records accordingly. Work with the Technology department to coordinate staff key card and security system access.
* Maintain building security measures during school hours, implementing emergency procedures as necessary
* Maintain and coordinate the building schedule including after school activities, workshops, and other events
* Prepare brochures, permission forms, and transportation requests for field trips and programming
* Prepare report cards and other student mailings such as newsletters and notices
* Maintain student attendance records.
* Process student enrollments and withdrawals
* Maintain active and inactive student files, processing applicable student record requests
* Process student address and phone number changes.
* Design, construct, and maintain the master schedule for teachers and students in the District’s student information system
* Enter student data into the District’s student information system including student schedules
* Process transportation requests and problem-solve transportation-related issues
* Plan and organize program specific ceremonies and events
* Order office and classroom supplies
* Process transcripts for students at the time of graduation by request
* Distribute mail, forms, and fliers to staff
* Coordinate equipment repair and/or replacement as necessary
* Other duties as assigned
