[image.png] High School Chemistry and Physics Teacher Long-Term Substitute Job Description Twin Cities Academy (6-12) is seeking a long-term substitute high school Chemistry and Physics teacher for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year, with the possibility of remaining beyond the school year. Qualifications Required: Bachelor&#8217;s degree, MN license or the ability to obtain a waiver (school will support a waiver for the best qualified person, if necessary). Preferred: Experience working in an urban educational environment, Master&#8217;s degree. Experience with culturally responsive teaching practices and dedication to educational equity and inclusion in a college-preparatory program. Institution Description Twin Cities Academy is an urban, college preparatory, public charter school located in East Saint Paul, and serving students in grades 6-12. The school&#8217;s mission emphasizes academic rigor, leadership development, character building, and community engagement. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to attend a post-secondary institution. We have a history of success including being designated consistently as a "Reward" school by the Minnesota Department of Education.
