Job Summary:
Grade 6-12 teachers create engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and materials using International Baccalaureate best practices, integrating international-mindedness throughout instruction.
Schedule:
The position is expected to continue through June 9, 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance and school needs. The schedule will follow regular school hours.

Essential Functions:
* Use hands-on learning activities in daily instruction.
* Engage parents by communicating program goals, activities, homework, events, and student progress.
* Foster a safe, welcoming classroom using Developmental Designs and Responsive Classroom practices.
* Collaborate with colleagues and administrators on teaching strategies.
* Stay updated on trends and evaluation methods in language acquisition (for language and immersion teachers).
* Attend regular planning sessions and staff development.
* Participate in school-directed and personal professional development.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree, in any field.
* Must be fluent in English, both oral and written communications.
* Must be fluent in Spanish, both oral and written communications.
* Must have a valid Minnesota teaching license or the ability to obtain a license in the assignment area and grade level prior to the start of the school year.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in education.
* Teaching experience at the age level of the open position.
* Teaching experience in the International Baccalaureate DP and MYP.
* Experience with Developmental Designs and Responsive Classroom.
* Experience teaching/living abroad.
