The Ellsworth Community School District is hiring a High School Tech Ed Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled full-time Technology Education Teacher to provide engaging instruction in our newly redesigned and well-equipped tech ed spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in technology education courses, fostering student interest in CTE, and supporting the overall goals of the program. Key Responsibilities: * Teach a variety of technology education courses, such as robotics, engineering, computer programming, digital fabrication, and others based on expertise and departmental needs. * Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with state standards and addresses the evolving needs of the workforce. * Foster a hands-on learning environment where students develop technical skills and critical thinking. * Utilize new tools, equipment, and technologies in the CTE center to create engaging lessons. * Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and industry professionals to enhance the program. * Provide mentorship and career guidance to students interested in pursuing careers in technology or related fields. * Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the technology education program. Qualifications: * Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Technology Education, Engineering Education, or a related field (required). * Valid teaching certification in Technology Education or CTE (or eligibility to obtain). * Strong background in technology, engineering, and/or related technical fields. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to innovate and adapt to emerging technologies in the field of tech education.
