2024-25 School Year Targeted Services Teacher Grades 3-5
Location: Independence Elementary STEM
Temporary Position
Job Summary: Under the direction of district administrators, the Classroom Teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans to present district curriculum in assigned instructional subjects; instructing students using lesson plans and instructional material; and evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives. Teachers also participate and collaborate with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives.
Qualifications: Current teachers with experience working with elementary students able to address the whole learner (social, emotional and academic needs in core subject area).
Requires: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education. A Certified teaching certificate from the State of MN is required.
Working Conditions: Mondays 2:30pm to 3:30pm, March 24th to May,19th 2025; No session Monday, April 21st.; 8 one hour sessions, with a 30 minute prep per week up to a total of 12 hours. There will be a 16:1 student to teacher ratio.
