Brandon-Evansville Schools are located in beautiful central Minnesota, just minutes northwest on I-94. Our community is rich in agriculture, recreation, tourism, and progressive businesses. Brandon-Evansville is a growing district that takes pride in its quality of education. Our staff focuses on offering our students the best educational practices with the latest technologies. A recent and successful referendum was passed resulting in new academic additions to both campuses. Brandon-Evansville Schools are located in two communities, Brandon and Evansville, Minnesota. The school district has approximately 535 K-12 students.
Job Summary:
Brandon-Evansville School District seeks a visionary PreK-12 Principal to lead our dynamic educational community, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for student success. As a PreK-12 Principal, you will serve as the educational leader and administrator managing staff, implementing curriculum and ensuring the overall success of the school. This is a 220 duty day contract with competitive pay and benefits dependent upon experience.
Professional Responsibilities:
● Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with state and district standards.
● Support teachers with instructional strategies, professional development, and evaluation.
● Monitor student progress and implement data-driven decision-making for academic improvement.
● Promote a positive school culture focused on student learning and achievement.
● Oversee scheduling.
● Handle student discipline, attendance, and enforce school policies.
● Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, community members, and the school board.
● Serve as District Assessment Coordinator.
Qualifications:
● MN principal certification
● Leadership experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
● Have excellent interpersonal skills
● Experience with multigrade instruction
● Ability to make appropriate decisions quickly
● Have organizational oversight
● Ability to foster community partnerships that enhance student opportunities
● Have excellent written and oral communication
● Possess problem solving skills
● Must have leadership skills
