The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic Catholic ready to work collaboratively with students, parents, and teachers. Possessing a spirit of innovation and creativity, this teacher will approach lesson design with student engagement, differentiation, high standards, and technology in mind while embedding the Catholic faith throughout the day. Knowledge of Minnesota State Standards for Math, and NWEA&#8217;s Measure of Academic Progress (MAPs) are most helpful. Qualifications: * MN Teaching License with Middle School Endorsement preferred * Practicing Roman Catholic * Experience teaching middle level math preferred The ideal candidate will have: * Dedication to the mission of Catholic Education * Understanding of best practices in math instruction * A keen ability to relate with adolescents and be student-centered * A willingness to collaborate with other teachers and make data-driven decisions * High expectations and an enthusiastic approach to working with others * Experience designing instruction and assessment aligned with standards * Experience integrating technology into both teaching and learning (use of SMART Boards, digital cameras, Chromebooks, and Google Classroom) * Training in Responsive Classroom philosophy * A strong work ethic balanced with the ability to laugh and share the joy of learning * Independent learner and self-starter, willing to take on tasks without step-by-step instruction Application Instructions/Comments: Email letter of interest, resume, license and credentials, along with three letters of recommendation to bsartori@stmcatholicschool.org<mailto:bsartori@stmcatholicschool.org> Attn: Ben Sartori, Assistant Principal Deadline: Open until filled.
