Job Summary: We are seeking a Title I Reading Teacher to provide targeted reading interventions to students in grades K-4. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of reading interventions grounded in the science of reading and a commitment to building skills through a concrete, systematic approach. This is a part-time position (32 hours/week) with flexible scheduling. We utilize the Groves Reading Intervention program and provide comprehensive training and certification opportunities. Responsibilities: Provide small-group and one-on-one reading instruction to students in grades K-4 Implement reading interventions based on the science of reading and individual student needs Adapt lesson plans for students significantly behind their peers who struggle with essential reading and math skills Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development Communicate with school staff bi-weekly to update student progress Collaborate with site coordinator and staff Use data to guide instruction Participate in professional development opportunities to deepen knowledge of reading instruction and intervention Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, or related field Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 teaching license in a related area Experience with reading intervention programs and progress monitoring tools Strong understanding of the science of reading and structured literacy instruction Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Commitment to collaborative teamwork and open communication Ability to track student progress using data Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with bilingual learners and interventions Experience working with urban students Understanding of Title I teacher role Effective technology integration Willingness to learn the Groves Reading Intervention program Work Environment: This position is part-time for the 2024-2025 school year Paid planning, prep, and professional development time is included Hours: 30 hours/week Salary: $40/hour (commensurate with experience) Application Instructions Please email your resume and cover letter to Christina Davis, Talent Recruiter, at cdavis@acamn.org<mailto:cdavis@acamn.org>.
