Applicants should hold an Industrial Technology License and also be vocationally certified if possible (not required). The candidate should display a general background in the construction's trades, wood working, drafting, electronics and computer technology used in programing wood working machines, and lasers found in the shop facilities. Some classes currently scheduled to be taught for the upcoming school year are: Industrial Technology 7, Industrial Technology 8, Introduction to Woods, Wood Tech I, Wood Tech II, Trade Skills, and Sign Engineering. Instructors will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to the equipment located in the shop area.
