Desired Qualifications * Leadership Experience &#8211; Prior experience as a principal, assistant principal, or other leadership role in education * Instructional Expertise &#8211; Strong understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and data-driven decision-making * Literacy Training &#8211; Background in literacy instruction and intervention strategies * Student-Centered Approach &#8211; Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture focused on academic achievement and student well-being * Relationship Builder &#8211; Ability to cultivate strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the community * Collaboration & Teamwork &#8211; Skilled in supporting and developing teachers, promoting professional learning, and leading with a team-first mindset * Strategic Vision &#8211; Experience in goal-setting, problem-solving, and school improvement planning * Knowledge of State Standards & Assessments &#8211; Familiarity with Minnesota K-12 standards, assessments, and compliance requirements * Budget & Operations Management &#8211; Ability to oversee school budgets, scheduling, and daily operations efficiently * Technology Integration &#8211; Understanding of modern educational technology and how to implement it effectively in the classroom * Conflict Resolution & Communication &#8211; Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges Compensation & Benefits Salary: Minimum $80,000 (based on experience) Benefits: Regionally competitive package How to Apply Email your Letter of Interest, Resume, and three current Letters of Recommendation to paul.chick@isd402.org.
