7-12 Math Teacher – Parkers Prairie High School Position Available: Beginning 2025-26 School Year Parkers Prairie High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate 7-12 Math Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who excels in Algebra and Geometry, with a strong preference for candidates interested in teaching higher-level mathematics, including college-level courses. A Master’s degree in Mathematics is preferred but not required. Coaching and advisory roles are available for interested candidates. Qualifications: * Valid Minnesota teaching license in Mathematics (or the ability to obtain one). * Strong knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, and higher-level mathematics. * Passion for engaging and challenging students in mathematics. * Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies. * Strong classroom management and communication skills. Responsibilities: * Teach mathematics courses for students in grades 7-12. * Develop engaging, student-centered lesson plans that promote critical thinking. * Provide rigorous instruction in Algebra, Geometry, and potentially college-level courses. * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth. * Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student success. * Participate in professional development and school initiatives.
