Job Summary
The Interventionist plays a crucial role in supporting the educational development of students by implementing tailored intervention strategies. This position focuses on enhancing learning outcomes for students who may require additional assistance, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and approaches. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childhood development and education, with a passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Duties
* Assess and identify students' individual learning needs and challenges
* Develop and implement personalized intervention plans that align with each student's educational goals
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
* Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce skills in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
* Maintain accurate records of student performance and intervention outcomes.
* Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
* Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and special education methodologies.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience working with students in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood education or special education.
* Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management strategies.
* Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to design instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
* A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports all learners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,014.00 per year
