ROLE OBJECTIVES
The Middle School Project Based Learning Facilitator will lead students through collaborative and experiential learning projects. They will empower students to explore interdisciplinary connections, develop research skills, and create tangible solutions to real-world problems.
KEY DUTIES
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that comply with state standards and/or national standards. Facilitate classroom discussions to encourage students' understanding and application of historical events and societal trends. Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback. Incorporate technology and other educational tools to enhance learning experiences. Develops and administers Project Based Learning Education curriculum consistent with school districts goals and objectives. Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to student learning. Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student's needs, including students with special needs. Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by the district. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom. Coordinates with other professional staff members and participates in PLCs and other monthly meetings. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in regular professional development, the school’s professional learning community and staff meetings to improve instruction. Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with school leadership and other staff members to maximize effective instructional activities and build positive school culture. Meet professional obligations by honoring schedules, deadlines, and all professional responsibilities. Demonstrate the standards for effective practices of teachers Any other assigned duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications: BA
Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of content, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage and inspire students, and proficiency in using educational technology.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
Salary Range: Starting salary of $43,000 or higher based on experience Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement, and professional development opportunities.
