Provide direct math intervention for qualifying students, manages data and collaborate with teachers and parents. Performs difficult professional work providing instruction ensuring all students within the academic discipline area learn and achieve academic excellence, achieve self-mastery and social competency and develop their own missions (purpose) and vision for a positive future and an environment favorable to learning, teaching a board range of subjects or specialized subject matter(s), teaching special needs students, motivating students to achieve maximum potential, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the building administrative team. Specific Tasks: * Provide an ideal, positive learning environment with learning opportunities for student success. Instruct students in individual or small group sessions providing students with multiple instructional strategies. * Assess and evaluate students' progress; maintain records; prepare progress reports. * Develop, translate and integrate lesson plans, content, technology and instructional materials into learning experiences * Adapt teaching materials and methods to develop relevant sequential assignments that guide and challenge students * Determine students eligible for ADSIS services by examining the data and knowing the entrance criteria. * Schedule students and small groups to receive the intervention. * Record and analyze intervention data, including progress monitoring and intervention adjustments. * Assess and evaluate students' progress; maintain records; prepare progress reports * Monitor eligibility for exit. * Submit records in compliance with district and state guidelines * Confer with the classroom teacher and/or PLC. * Communicate with parents for program entrance, progress, and exit Qualifications: Minnesota teaching license required. High School Math Preferred Current MN teaching license for grade levels of assignment. Successful background check required. Experience with secondary school-aged students that includes experience with children at risk for academic success preferred. Knowledge of effective and varied teaching strategies, classroom accommodations, modifications, and varied assessment techniques. Description/Requirements:

Qualifications:

Minnesota teaching license required. High School Math Preferred
Current MN teaching license for grade levels of assignment.
Successful background check required.
Experience with secondary school-aged students that includes experience with children at risk for academic success preferred. Knowledge of effective and varied teaching strategies, classroom accommodations, modifications, and varied assessment techniques.
