Candidate must possess current Minnesota Teaching License in the appropriate field or be anticipating one before August, 2025. Candidate must possess good communication skills and the ability to create a safe and caring learning environment in which we prepare, engage, educate, empower and inspire all learners in partnership with their surrounding community to be successful in today's and tomorrow's society. Preferred candidate will have a passion for learning, good classroom management procedures, good organizational skills, and be able to engage with students and parents for a positive learning experience. Coaching and extracurricular opportunities are available. Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800. Agriculture is a very strong part of our community. University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community. Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining, an international airport and more. District enrollment size is approximately 1100 students, with the high school about 600 students grade 6-12.
