Position Type: Middle School Teaching/Language Arts Date Posted: 4/17/2025 Location: Kenyon-Wanamingo Middle-High School Date Available: 08/25/2025 Closing Date: Open until filled Kenyon-Wanamingo Public Schools is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Middle School English Language Arts Teacher effective for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsible for developing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, evaluating and assessing student performance, and communicating student progress with parents/guardians and reporting student performance for local and state records. Coaching and advisory positions may also be available. Job Qualifications: Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and subject area certification required. SALARY RANGE Salary Schedules for each employee group are detailed in each master agreement found on the website at kw.k12.mn.us under staff/employee contracts. Salary range for 2024-2025 for is $42,900 (BA, Step 1) to $76,569 (MA+30, Step 15) based on experience and education. View the Step/Lane Schedule in the KWEA Teacher Master Agreement. Long Term Sub positions are paid at BA, Step 1 level for factoring rate per day. BA, Step 1 = Annual Salary of $42,900 or $235.71 per day. Coach Positions: Compensation in accordance with Schedule C of the Teacher Master Agreement found on the website at kw.k12.mn.us under staff/employee contracts. Amounts vary per activity and level of coach.
