North Elementary School in St. Peter, MN, is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Reading Intervention Substitute to join our dynamic educational team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning and literacy development.
Responsibilities:
* Implementing structured literacy interventions and strategies to support student growth in reading comprehension, fluency, and phonics.
* Collaborating with classroom teachers and literacy specialists to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives and student needs.
* Monitoring student progress through ongoing assessment and data analysis to adjust instructional strategies effectively.
* Maintaining communication with parents/guardians and school staff regarding student performance and intervention progress.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
* Valid teaching license or substitute teaching permit issued by the State of Minnesota.
* Experience with literacy phonics programs such as UFLI, or similar.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with a passion for supporting student success.
Pay Range: $33.02 - $41.73 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
