The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students with diverse needs, working collaboratively with staff and families, and fostering a supportive learning environment where every student can succeed. Responsibilities: * Provide specialized instruction to students with IEPs in a variety of settings. * Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines. * Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and service providers to support student learning and inclusion. * Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress. * Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, challenges, and strategies. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with due process requirements. * Participate/facilitate IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives. Qualifications: Required: * Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain). * Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Special Education or a related field. * Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and evidence-based instructional strategies. * Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Preferred: * Experience working with students with a range of disabilities at the secondary level. * Familiarity with co-teaching and inclusive practices. * Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive tools.
