Ortonville Public School is Seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach Position Open for the 2025&#8211;2026 School Year Ortonville Public School is accepting applications for the position of Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2025&#8211;2026 season and beyond. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about basketball and committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court. Current Teaching Openings include: High School Social Studies, High School Math and Special Education Qualifications: * Prior coaching experience preferred * Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and team development * Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and mentor student-athletes * Strong communication and organizational skills * Must meet MSHSL coaching requirements (or be willing to complete them) Responsibilities Include: * Leading all aspects of the girls basketball program, including practice planning, game preparation, and in-season and off-season development * Fostering a positive team culture rooted in sportsmanship, accountability, and hard work * Collaborating with athletic department staff, administration, and assistant coaches * Communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnel * Ensuring adherence to all district and MSHSL policies and procedures About Ortonville: Ortonville Public School is a rural PreK&#8211;12 district in west-central Minnesota, serving approximately 525 students with an enrollment that has seen steady increases.
