SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST TEACHER, Grades K-8 Art & Science Academy (ASA), a public charter school district with two schools (grades K-4 and 5-8), is seeking a K-8 Speech Language Pathologist Teacher to begin in August 2025. This position is a full time (1.0 FTE) position with benefits. Position will remain open until filled. QUALIFICATIONS: * Current Minnesota Speech Pathology License through the Minnesota Department of Education. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: * Direct service delivery with elementary and middle school age children * Knowledge and experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder * Skills with SpEdForms for IEPs, evaluations and MA Billing (due process) DESCRIPTION: * Pre-referral consultation to general and special education teachers * Case management for students with speech-language impairments only * Due process compliance, third-party billing, program data collection, funding reports, etc * Lead classroom social skills groups using predetermined social skills curriculum * Prepare and instruct individualized articulation sessions * Support language during reading centers in the classroom * Teach functional life skills class * Direct intervention services to students in the least restrictive environment (include classroom-based service) * Indirect intervention and consultative services to teachers and school staff * Other site-based and special education duties, including support of district literacy goals * Promote play and development of problem solving skills * Assist with development and implementation of School-wide Technology and Augmentative Communication; programming and use of iPads for communication for children that have limited communication skills.
