This position will be responsible for directing choirs in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Qualifications/Degree: Appropriate Minnesota Vocal Music License. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Special Job Requirements: * Direct the 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade choirs in rehearsal and concerts. * Must have proficient piano skills. * Administer formal and informal assessments using the appropriate assessment strategies. * Implement effective instruction using appropriate instructional techniques based on the individual needs of each student and in compliance with each child's IEP or 504 plan. * Plan evidence-based interventions appropriate for individual students and groups of students * Provide feedback and reinforcement to students and parents. Beginning Salary Range: As per the Stewartville United Educators&#8217; Master Agreement in attachment Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
