Position Overview: 1.0 FTE Preschool 3-year-old position, Social Emotional Learning and Developmental Screener Position Summary: Plan and implement curriculum for a 3-year-old Preschool School Readiness classes. Conduct early childhood screenings for all children ages 3-5, following up with all rescreening appointments and referrals, and administering age-appropriate screenings with children to identify any developmental concerns or related issues. Under the guidance of the building principal, plan and implement Social Emotional Learning curriculum that aligns with best practices and fosters a sense of access, opportunity and belonging for all students. Essential Job Functions: * Teaching in the 3-year-old classroom * Collaboration with other Preschool teachers * Attend staff development sessions * Communication with parents * Record observations related to TS Gold assessment tool * Developmental Screening under the guidance of the ECFE Coordinator * Social Emotional Learning under the direction of the Early Learning Administrator Qualifications: * Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited * Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required for specific assignment (Birth to Grade 3 license and/or Elementary Education) * Be able to collaborate in a play-based and inquiry based environment * Be able to collaborate with classroom assistant Salary Range: BA, Step 1 at $46,802/yr to PhD, Step 17 at $100,964/yr, placement will vary depending on education and experience.
