High School Counselor 7-12 (1.0 FTE) St. Clair Public School is seeking its next High School Counselor. St. Clair is a K-12 Facility located 7 miles southeast of Mankato, MN. St. Clair High School serves approximately 400 students, 30 licensed staff, including approximately 10 support staff for grades 7-12. The candidate must support students in academic, career, personal, and social development. Using the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model, and Minnesota state guidelines, the counselor promotes equity and access to a rigorous education for all students, guiding them through graduation and post-secondary planning. The school counselor provides programming which includes conflict resolution skills, coping and refusal skills, character education, diversity, and study skills.
